Hubby's birthday

Three months have nearly passed since my hubby finished his journey in life. Today would have been his 64th birthday and I, our children and the grandchildren must remember the good times whilst attending the final placement of his ashes in the Woodland Garden of Rememberance.

Loved in Life, Greatly missed. Taken too early but forever in our hearts. Jules and family

  • Hi Annie

Thank you for your words. It is a difficult road to travel and I am now over six years on from my loss. Hubby is always with me in my heart, memories so much cherished. Yesterday should have been our 44th Wedding Anniversay and so flowers laid at his resting place and then , for me, a beautiful walk in a local nature area which always calms my thoughts. I took, and still take, strength from my children and grandchildren (my son has married and there are two grandchildren that only know their granddad from photos and us talking about him since our family loss). The support of this forum during hubby's illness and the years following was invaluable and I still have 'virtual friends' here. Take baby steps day to day and support from whereever you need it. Best wishes. Jules
