seven years since cancer operation

On 14th January, it was 7 years since my operation. I had my one remaining testicul removed. It was really tough at the beginning, especially as i now feel that my wife didn't get the support that she felt she needed, particularly in the few month after the operation. We are currently trying to adopt, we have a beautiful daughter, but the cancer robbed us of naturally conceaving a sibling for her. We have remained a strong loving family, but the has been some tough times too.

  • Hi Robj,

phew = you and your wife has had this going on for seven years! Now another twist in the story = gosh I am sorry - thats really rough. What can I say? Lets keep you and your family close in our hearts to give you all the freedom of worry and greatest happiness and joy.

As our lovely Max56 says  - there is no facility for dealing with the emotions and loss over the course of cancers. I can't say why... but is throughtout society - we have lost friends when they here of our cancer experiences. People really don't want to hear it - do they?

Anyway = here you have the oportunity to find your voice and express all your feelings - we will be here for you

Cheers to you and your family
