Like Rhubarbdragon, I wanted to offer you my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
As you've mentioned you want help, I wanted to share this information we have about coping with grief. I hope you find it useful, but if you feel you are really struggling or are finding your grief overwhelming then it may be worth reaching out for bereavement support from charities such as Cruse Bereavement Care or Sue Ryder.
Your GP will be able to offer you support and make you aware of any support groups in your local area that you could attend if you want to connect with others in person who are going through this as well.
I hope you receive more support and advice from our members soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you Sophielol and sending you all our strength and support at this very difficult time.
I simply wish to send you my heartfelt condolences...........I lost my Mum when I was still fairly young, and what I can tell you is that eventually the sun will shine for you again. You will never completely 'Get Over' the fact that your Mother is no longer with you, but you will reach a sad acceptance of it. I wish I could offer you a better reply than this one, but I just wanted to let you know that I have been in your shoes and I know exactly how you feel. Once again, so sorry for your loss, xx
