My husband of 21 yrs died Nov 4th diagnosed in July given 3 months n just made it over that,yes I felt angry at hospital altho I know they did everything for him unfortunately it was just too aggressive but you hear of all these ppl who have been saved from it you think why not them I threw myself back into work that was my way of coping along with sorting funeral out sending hugs to you esp losing them Christmas day that's a hard one xx

He was in hospital for 3 weeks they thought he had a perforation in his bowel so stopped chemo even though the tumour markers were coming down. Few days before we came home we were told don't think a perforation will have to re scan then start chemo again. Sent us home. 2 days later he got more poorly. He didn't stand a chance. Funeral Friday and my anxiety through the roof as I know will be packed. Big hugs to you to. People don't really understand if not been through it x
I agree I never did but unfortunately I do now he had been sick for 2 weeks b4 went in was given tests and told he's had a stroke as symptoms same,then next week had another scan n told it was lung cancer then did MRI was brain too was the brain one that did the damage, then to top it off he had a blood clot in his leg so for the last 3 weeks was bed ridden and on end of life care xx
I really feel your pain always when it's to late. I thought we would come home and be able to do some bits together. He had partial bowel blockage was in so much tummy pain ended up on a driver. Been most traumatic thing I've ever done. I went to see him yesterday looked asleep but wanted him to open his eyes and talk to me. Like you they were our soul mates and can't imagine life without them x
People say is there anything I can do. I say bring him back or nobody can help heal my heart. My poor friend lost her son in October to cancer he was 20. Life is so cruel x
