Oh CB1951 I am so so sorry for your loss and that you are having these vivid pictures of him lying in his bed ill in your mind. This is to be expected after such a traumatic event. As you will see on the information we have on our website on coping with grief, you might go through so many complex emotions when going through grief and it is not unusual for images like this to stay in your mind. If you feel that it is very hard for you to cope or to think of anything else, do get in touch with your GP who will I am sure be able to help. There are no words really to describe the pain anyone losing a child experiences and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone, that so many other members of our community will understand sadly what you are going through and I hope that they will be in touch shortly with comforting words.
That lovely smile your son had you will never forget either and I hope that you can remember soon the beautiful moments you shared together. It is all still so very raw for you and we are thinking of you during this difficult time.
Warmest wishes,
