One year on..

Creating a post is my way with dealing with 2 close people to.me who had the same Cancer diagnosis.

One year on Since my Mothers funeral  & I had 'recently created a post about my friend & her Cancer, sadley she has died  Last Month in ( September ). She was at my Mothers funeral one year ago & then faced her own  Cancer in May! & passed away recently! It was truly sad, & quite a shock! Also for her Family & friends it is still being processed. These Lunge cancers were Smoking related, I know people are entitled to make a life style choice but if I could persuade all ssmokers OR Just 1 smoker to give up ! Because I would still love to have my friend around to talk to & spend time with !

More important that's what her Children would give anything for!

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your Mum and a good friend from the same cancer in a little over a year. I can understand these losses will have been very difficult for you at times and I hope that you've had people around you that you've been able to reach out to for support.

Grief is a natural process but it can be overwhelming at times. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you feel that you need it at any point. Bereavement support can be accessed through charities such as Cruse and Marie Curie

You're welcome to keep posting here on the forum if it helps to have a safe space to put down your thoughts and feelings in writing. We're here to listen and offer any support we can.

Thinking of you at this difficult time,
    Jenn
