  • Hi Sammy_C,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and want to send our condolences - this must be an incredibly difficult time and no doubt things must be feeling raw at the moment.

Hopefully you have others around you for support and to speak to - you mention you have a sister. Keep leaning on others and speaking about how you're feeling. Take things as slowly as possible, one day or one hour at a time.

It may take some time to come to terms with things, but at any point if you feel you're struggling and would like some additional support, have a look at Cruse. They offer various resources and also a helpline for those experiencing grief. It can often be helpful to speak to someone neutral who is there to listen and if needs be offer some help.

We are also always here for support on the forum whenever you may need it, even if it's just to write things down. There will be others here who have either experienced or are experiencing something similar.

Keep looking after yourself, and as I say we are always here for you.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
