Hello Everyone.

Four years ago I lost my adult child to brain cancer. I nursed him at home until he passed.

I am still struggling to cope with his loss. The loss has left such a huge gap in my heart.

Does any one else feel the pain of grief is part of every day life?

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Lynns23.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your adult child to brain cancer. It's understandable that you're still struggling to cope with such a profound loss, and the pain of grief can indeed feel like a part of everyday life.

Many people who have experienced similar losses find that grief can be all-encompassing and affect various aspects of their daily lives. It's important to give yourself permission to grieve and to seek support from others who understand what you're going through, hopefully some of our members who understand how you're feeling at the moment will be here soon to chat with you.

That being said, our website offers a page called Coping with grief for those dealing with grief that you may find helpful during this difficult time.

Remember that you're not alone, there's always someone here to listen.
