I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and how this is afffecting you. There is some information on coping with bowel cancer here, if you ever needed to refer to it. I'd imagine you're doing all you can to support him but it's also important to look after yourself during this difficult time and if you have any questions or you're unsure, you should contact the hospital again.
