Hello Angusmummy43
I'm so very sorry to hear that your lost your Mum to lung cancer last year and that now your best friend is starting treatment for cervical cancer. It's understandable that you may be feeling overwhelmed by a whole array of thoughts and emotions.
I wanted to give you the link to two organisations that may be able to offer you some support with all that you're dealing with at the moment. The first is an organisation called Maggie's and if you have a centre local to you I'd encourage you to get in touch with them. They are available to anyone who has been impacted by cancer and I'm sure you will find some support and help there. I also wanted to give you the link to a charity called Cruse. They are a bereavement charity and will be able to offer help and support for you to move forwards with your grief.
If you'd like to chat with one of our nurses at any point you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support they can.
Sending my best wishes,
Jenn
