Saying goodbye

Today is my warrior brothers funeral, we lost him to glioblastoma- a evil aggressive brain cancer. A life cut short at the young age of 51, feels not real having to bury him in the cold , lonely ground, but I take comfort that he is not in any more pain from the evil that is cancer. A loving, kind, caring big brother - rest in peace.

  • Hello Emily-7

I'm so very sorry to hear that you recently lost your beloved brother to cancer. I know that many of our members here will understand the rollercoaster of emotions with losing a loved one.

I hope that the funeral yesterday went some way to help you say goodbye to him. Grief is a natural process but it can be devastating. We know that some of our members have found it helpful to talk to someone about their loss. If you ever feel that this would be something you might benefit from then get in touch with Cruse who are able to offer bereavement support.

Thinking of you all at this sad time.
