My beautiful mum

In 2019 mum was diagnosed with stage 1 kidney cancer,  it then metastasised to lungs  towards the end of 2021 and eventually to her liver and lymph nodes which we found out about just over 2 weeks ago, no treatment was offered due to her other medical conditions, a syringe driver was fitted last Thursday and all other medication was stopped….

At 1:07am today my mum lost her battle at home with her family around her and she fought right to the very end, my heart is breaking, I just sat up with her watching her lay in her bed so peaceful, just cannot bear to leave her side even now she is at peace

  • So sorry to hear about your loss of your mum, May she be at peace, pain free. Stay strong and positive and take one day at a time, it does get easier - I promise you.

I am three weeks into grieving process, lost my brother to a brain tumour, keep busy and occupied and just remember your mum will be looking down on you and wanting you to stay strong.

    Take care

  • Thankyou for your kind words and I am so sorry for your loss, my heart is breaking so much right now I can't bear the thought of not seeing her again, my chest feels so tight not just mentally but physically too, cos the pain of loosing her is so unbearable

  • Hi sorry for your loss

our mums are one of a kind, unreplacable. It is hard but stay strong, think about your health your mum would want you to stay strong. Grief is overwhelming, hard emotionally and physically but one step at a time, one foot in front of other , one day at a time. Just take it easy and think about your mum at happier times, look back at photos, talk about good times and just remember she is flying high with the angels, happy and at peace. Cancer is a cruel disease which robs us of our loved ones, let's just hope and pray that we find a cure for this illness and focus on staying strong and remember talking is good.

Stay strong and positive and take care of yourself and remember your mum is watching over you always ️
