Lost my darling brother

I have just lost my amazing, kind , warrior brother to glioblastoma , stage 4 brain cancer, a cruel illness that has taken the best, my heart is broken and his untimely death will always leave a great hole in my heart. He fought bravely till the end.I admire his strength and courage throughout all his treatment, operation and right up until the end while on palliative care, he never complained. I am in awe at his strength and courage over the last 14 months. We need to find a cure for this horrible disease, it can't happen to another young individual. Life is too short and precious- never regret a day and always tell family u love them dearly, rest in peace beautiful big brother - my angel ️
Gone too soon but will never be forgotten.
why do we still not have a cure for cancer in 2022!!!!

    Good Morning.

    I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. I'm currently going through a difficult time with my brother being given 3 to 6 months to live.

    He has been fighting Leukemia for 3 years and its finally taken over his body. I'm devastated to say the least. I'm not sleeping but feel selfish at the same time. 

    I've no idea how to support him through this, please can you advise me. He only has me. Where can we go for help and what do I need to do. I'm heartbroken.

    just be there, support him mentally, emotionally and physically. Try to be his rock, talk together, laugh together, remember old times together. Reasure him not to be scared, hold his hand, read book to him , watch movies together- just generally be there for him - he just needs u to be there for him as a brother. Try to rest yourself when ur brother is resting as u will need to get a break too, speak to cancer charities locally /gp/ local hospital for care and extra support. Macmillan nurses are brilliant and palliative care nurses are great too. Don't feel selfish , u too have a right to be angry , cancer is a evil cruel disease which takes our loved ones away, we need to find a cure for this evil disease.

    just take one day at a time, one foot in front of the other, stay strong and reach out for help.

    tell him u love him every day, don't regret a day - make the most of ur time and make lots of memories and take plenty of photos.
