Dad passed away how to cope

It's been a week tomorrow Tuesday 1st March ) my dad passed . He fought until the very end and beat the cancer. Never will I know where he got his strength, willpower and determination from. He has been such a true warrior and we are all so amazed and proud with how hard he fought and battled through so many treatments; ABVD, GDP, Brentuximab, Pembroluizmab, IGEV, Cami-T and finally high dose Mini-BEAM. How do people cope with this loss ? My dad tried everything he could and was so scared of dying , he was 54 , it makes it worse knowing how much he wanted to stay here .

    I'm so so sorry for your loss. 54 is so young. Just be assured your lovely dad passed knowing how much you loved him, and him you. Try to remember the good times not the sad ones. I know its incredibly tough. I was on my own with my dad in the final hours. And fhe way I get through the tough days is by telling myself how privileged I was. He was there for my first breath. And I was there for my darling dads last. And he would have passed knowing how loved he was. Sending a huge hug to you.
