Hi my mums just had breast cancer and has under gone surgery and has had radiation, she's has now got severe pain down her leg and know has a lump on her knee, just looking for a bit advice, could this be cancer? Julie
I am sorry to hear about your mum's pain down her leg and the lump on her knee. I am not sure whether this could be linked to her cancer - the best thing to do really is to give her GP a call so that they can have a look at her leg and at the lump on her knee. A doctor will be in the best position to tell her more as to what it might be so it is really important that she makes an appointment to talk to her doctor about these issues. When she sees the doctor, she could mention that she has had surgery and radiation for breast cancer in case this is related in any way and so that they are aware of her current medical circumstances.
I hope that her doctor's appointment goes well and that the pain in her leg gets better.
