Hi. I'm sorry about your mum. My best friend who is 47 has anal/bowel cancer that's now in her groin lymph, liver, lungs and bones. She looked shocking when diagnosed but has felt reasonably well throughout treatment. However, this was ended a few months ago as it stopped working and is now having immunotherapy. Like you I am worried she is now very close to end of life. She looks pregnant bless her but I'm not sure if it's fluid as she's not being treated for it. She's in pain and now on morphine and anti sickness drugs all the time. She has also become very fatigued and not left the house in weeks. Some days she can't cope with even watching TV etc. I know immunotherapy can make you worse but like you I fear this is it but am swinging between preparing myself and wondering if I'm over reacting!
