My dad is post chemo and radiotherapy treatment 9 wks today. He had 35 radiotherapy treatment and 3 chemo sessions. He has had a tube in his stomach since he started treatment and has been on the food bottles through out this time. He has been to see a speach therapist today and he is coughing whilst trying to do the swollow test. He has been informed that he will have to have a a camera down down and possibly an x Ray to see what the problem may be and to top it off, she informed him he may never eat through his mouth again, which has really sent him backwards. Could anyone plz who has dealt with this put my dad and mine minds at rest that this is early days and hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel...... Many thanks
