I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's recent diagnosis of CLL. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about things. I think most of our members here will know how difficult waiting for tests and results can be and it's natural to think of all possible scenarios. 

Try to remain positive and take things a day at a time. It may be that this addition scan has been requested to give the team a more detailed view of the areas that have already been identified. Hopefully by the time the biopsy results are all back the team will be in a better position to be able to give you and your Mum a full picture of what's going on for her and what the next steps may be. 

In the meantime, you may want to think about giving our team of nurses a call to talk things through with them. I'm sure they'll be happy to offer any advice, support, and information that they can. If you'd like to chat with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040
