Stage 4 Cancer

Hello All,

I am first time in this forum. Not sure it is the right place to seek advice. If not please ignore. I am trying to understand more about the speed of cancer upon a person who I care very much..

I have a sister living abroad, age 50 with health issues of high blood pressure and diabetes. I spoke to her about 2 months ago, and less than 48 hours - she has been diagnosed with Cancer Stage 4 spread to kidney, lungs and bones. Doctor has said she has 14 days to live. She has done many checkup over the last 6 months and no detection of cancer. Is it true that cancer is a silence killer and the speed of it spreading is just too fast.

I plan to seek advice from a professional but not sure to start. I hope someone out there could sheer some guidance and I really appreciate at these dark times for me and family.

  • Sorry I can't give any real advise, other than say it would be very hard for a Dr to give such precise dates.

My OH has end stage Lung, liver and everywhere cancer. The Palliative Dr said on Tuesday that it has spread throughout his body, he is getting worse, but no dates .

The Moderators may have more to help you   I hope so  x
