Cancer has come back

My dad was diagnosed last summer with stage 4 cancer. He was given 6 months at best but he defeated all odds and responded really well go chemo.

However on his check up this week they've discovered the cancer has returned but in a different place to where it started.

Just wondered if other people have been through the same thing and whether treatment the 2nd time round was sucessful?

Everyone is different so hard to say, but my OH was diagnosed Feb 20, had chemo and immunotherapy and did really well for 12 months. Then it spread again and more chemo stopped it again.
Now he's on Palliative Care as spread is too far, but he's still working from home, steroids have given him a new lease of life. For stage 4 lung cancer with liver, spleen, spine mets he's defied all odds still being here. Your dad will hopefully do the same xxx
