Hi I'm new here , we have had the devastating news if my lovely mum who has been diagnosed with incurable cancer, they told her she has 3 to 4 months or with treatment maybe 12 months, I'm finding this so hard to accept and can't stop crying and feel numb , she had an operation last Feb to remove a tumor from her lung which was successfull an the cancer was gone on her scan , she then had chemo to mop up any cells thst maybe there after her operation. until last week when her scan revealed mets on her liver. That's when they told her the devastating news, I just cannot get my head around the numbers they have given , my mum is fit and well ,she has decided to go ahead with the treatment of chemo and immunotherapy to hopefully extend her life , apparently these treatments happen together alongside each other, has anyone else experienced the treatment and the outcomes of it . Any advice would be good . Thankyou, just heartbroken xx
