Cancer confirmed with dye but no biopsy results?!?!

Hello folks,

I was just wondering if anybody could relate to this, in November 2020 a member of the family was diagnosed with gastric/stomach cancer determined through standard sorts of symptoms (sickness, tar like stools etc) & a dye test (I have no reason to doubt their conclusion). Now here is the curious part and one that I feel seems to be quite unique to our case. We have since had between 4-5 attempts at biopsies & none have reaped any histology. They have tried multiple endoscopic like attempts, they have taken biopsies when in theatre but have suggested webbing or 'good like' cells are possibly preventing things from being determined and there is still absolutely no sign of any histology. Just curious if anybody can relate preferably with the same area of cancer but any insight or shared experience will be more than welcome.

Cheers

Dave
