  • Hello Bluejeans

I'm very sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. It's obviously an incredibly difficult time for you both.

Macmillan has information on their website about benefits and finances as well as having a team that you can call for support and information with this. I'd really recommend giving them a call; I'm sure they will be able to help.

We know that it can be really difficult when a loved one is given this kind of diagnosis and it's not unheard of for them to react as your husband has towards you. Hopefully, some of the other members on the forum who have found themselves in this position will post to share their words of advice and support with you. In the meantime, you're most welcome to give our team of nurses a call to chat things through with them. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support that can. If you'd like to speak with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.

Keep in touch Bluejeans and let us know how you're both getting on.

    Best wishes,
