Struggling- no treatment offered to mum

I am 40 and my beautiful mum has stage four lung cancer. They haven't offered any treatment because it is to advanced. At Christmas I nurtured my grandma whilst she died and now I am facing this ..... I haven't had time to grieve my grandma - we buried her and then bang this news came.

how I am going to get through this ????!

  • Hello Rachel505

I'm sorry to hear about your mum and can only imagine how this is impacting the lives of you and your family, especially after your grandma's passing. You should talk about how you're feeling with someone you can trust and there is support out there, which you can read more about here. It's important to remember you're human and if you need space to grieve, you could contact the Cruse bereavement phoneline 0808 808 1677.

If you'd like to speak to our cancer nurses you can on the freephone 0808 800 4040. Lines are open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

    Best wishes to you,
