Oligoastrocytoma Brain Tumour end of life

My Mum was diagnosed with a Benign Oligoastrocytoma 20 years ago and until Christmas 2019 she's lead a pretty normal life, however she started to stumble on her feet around Christmas and was in and out of hospital having tests, then fell and broke her hip in March 2020 resulting in a hospital stay where she contracted Covid...things went downhill from there really and an MRI in Aug 2020 showed progression of her tumour and there were no treatment options left (previously had surgery 2 rounds chemo and radio) we were told to make the most of things as she only had weeks/short months to live, she has remained bed bound unable to walk since then and we nearly lost her at Easter, she seems to have rallied and is very alert some days and others very confused, her quality of life is terrible other than having a large living family around her, I just look at her some days and wonder how much more can she take??? She is incontinent and occasionally uses a commode, she's too tired to do anything other than watch tv....I just want to know if anyone else experienced this long drawn out ending? It's been a year nearly and I just feel so bad watching her being pulled around by carers everyday. My heart is broken.
