Fainting

My 90 yr old Friend has had Leukarmia for approx  7 yrs.

The last 2 years she has gone down with severe weakness and some pain and today she fainted and was out for around 5 mins.

She refuses an ambulance as she's terrified.

Her abd is swollen and her speech is very weak and she also has half vision in right eye, and has confusion.

Is this an indication of heart or brain condition or maybe just anaemia, don't know what to do, she only has me no relatives ???

  • I'm sorry to hear about your friend Ptiscilla and how scary this must be for her.

Unfortunately no-one on the forum is medically trained so cannot tell you what this might mean but if you get in touch with your friend's out of hours GP service or the NHS on 111 you should be able to get the information and advice you're seeking to help your friend at this time.

    Best wishes to you both,
