Thanks for your reply,at the moment they have sent a hospital bed to the house and end of life nurses keep calling in we have not had to have much help from them yet but I feel like she is just being wrote off and that they are not prepared to do anymore for her , see what comes back after more bloods are taken but I feel like they have no further plan like they tried once and now that’s that, not sure if they are looking for another plan or just going to say they can do no more.  I do not want her to suffer but just wish something would come along for her that she can have which would help we didnt really even get to the point of another scan to see what happened.  I hope your husband gets strong and gets the treatments he needs sending you both lots of love

I am ever so sorry to hear this. You must be very worried. I'm guessing you have not yet had chance to speak to the consultant? Perhaps you could ring to ask him or her what they are doing. You aren't making a fuss.  Are you next of kin? If so you have the right to try find out. If they spoke privately to your mum, she might have said she didn't want any more treatment or to know what was going to happen next. My dad was very poorly and didn't want to know, so we didn't ask. Maybe you could ask your mum what she wants to happen next. This can be done in a general chat, without it sounding like there is nothing more they can do. Does she want more treatment, to just have a rest for now, etc? If possible, she should decide what she wants and that will be reassuring for you as you will know you are following her wishes. While you are waiting to hear more, make some more memories, enjoy spending this time with your mam, it will be hard, I know, having been there, but you can do it. Sending you strength.
