Living with Ovarian Cancer tumours

My wife has ovarian cancer. She's had two surgeries to remove firstly two big tumours and then secondly a hysterectomy. The cancer spread into her abdominal wall and now she has these tiny tumours. They aren't growing or spreading, but the doctors can't offer chemotherapy yet as they don't think it will do the job and then she might build up a resistance to the treatment. As you can imagine these are causing her quite a bit of pain and bloating, is there anything that she can try to relieve the pain? Any excercises etc pain killers don't really seem to be doing the trick.

Any advice would be really helpful :)
