Just found out my dads cancer is terminal I am stunned and in disbelief he is my best friend and I am now struggling how to help him and support him the best way I can x he has a partner who he loves with she is taking care of him x
I'm very sorry to hear the news about your dad. I know there is nothing I can do to make you feel any better at the moment, but I do understand how youre feeling at the moment as I have been through the same with my mum.
I think the word terminal makes you think that the end is near, but this actually is very far from what it often means. It depends on treatment, full prognosis and everything. I know it's very, very easy to go to the worst case scenario but until you have all the details, I would try to remain as positive as you possibly can. I know this is tough though.
