I'm sorry to hear about your Sister-in-law's diagnosis. I'm sure that it's a difficult time for you all and it's natural that you want to try and make things as easy for her as possible.

You might also want to get in touch with your local Occupational therapy department, either through Social Services or at the hospital (via the GP) who will be able to arrange to give you some advice and support regarding equipment provision.
