Medication morphine

Hi, 

whats peoples experience with morphine. My husband seems to be asleep every time I look at him, even at the dinner table today, is this a reaction to the morphine  or is he deteriorating.. 

Also loss of appetite seems to be becoming a thing, have people found this is a result of morphine?
