Hi Alex ,like you I stumbled across this  Cancer chat forum  and find it to be of great help .

Im so.sorry about your Dads Cancer has spread to.his spine and hip,it makes it hard enough for you and your dad ,and covid restrictions do not help as you cant travel now with.the  higher3  tier  coming into place this Wednesday for London and Essex (.that's if you live in either ) . Im sure your dad knows and understands you would be there in a heart beat if you could. But if you both  have whatsap  or zoom or some kind of social.mefia like ech show etc,you can add each other and drop.in on them ,I know its not the same but at least by video call ,drop ins you can see each other ,and talk via that  We bought my mum .an echo show for Christmas, she doesn't know yet lol.( she has an echo dot, but she cant see us or we her on that ) we all bought ourselves one  as well ,so each family member who has one can drop in on mum and see she's OK,my mums had strokes,falls and csnt do much,she pays for carers to come in to help. Anyway enough of my family lol,let's hope these covid restrictions are lifted soon so you can be with your dad as often as you can. You can form.a Christmas bubble with him  and 1 other family this Christmas, so  maybe you can get together then from 23rd to 27th..

Its good your expressing yourself ,its a good thing to do,and im sure you will get some more replies from some of the lovely people on here .
