Soft tissue sarcoma - treatment options

Dear All,

My brother (46 yrs old) was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma earlier this year, around Feb. He underwent one surgery in May (Abdominal area) and completed a three months of radiotherapy around the area where surgery was performed. He is undergoing his second surgery (Around Hips region) next week.

There are few more nodes that the surgeon won't take out (One around Shoulder, another around L4).

Could I get some information on available options and their effectiveness? Any information on what has worked?

Would appreciate any help / insight you can provide. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Anand.
