So here we go

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I want to say that I am so sorry that any of you are going through Bladder or any type of cancer or, any illness whatsoever. This is not an easy place to be.

I am in this situation as my husband has been diagnosed with terminal cancer this week, his deterioration is so quick, it is mighty frightening.

I want to thank you all as I have read some posts that have been very helpful to me. I'm not sure I will be writing posts during this crazy time but hope that I can add little bits as I go.

May life bless you all with the strength you need. In my fear, I am thinking of all of you because now I know how this feels, now I am facing a journey that I will have to focus solely on.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. It's understandable that you're feeling scared after the news.
I just wanted to make sure that you have the contact number for our team of nurses incase you'd like to chat things through with them at any point. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.
I hope that the forum helps you to feel that you're not alone. Know that you're welcome to post here whenever you it might help. I'm sure that the community will do their best to support you.

So so sorry you lost your hubby to this crule cancer... it has no compation .. l to have lost someone close a few weeks ago ... and on my own journey... but I'm reaching out to send you a vertual hug... your not alone , there's far to many of us living in this nightmare ... at least now they are safely tucked up in our hearts.... chrissie xx

Hi Cinders,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your husband.
It is so difficult to come to terms with this when everything has happened so quickly. We lost my father in law last year. He sadly died only five days after he was diagnosed.
