Oesophagus cancer Malignant Melanoma

Dear All,

My patrtner is dying of malignant melanoma in his osophegus mainly. That is where the primary cancer is. The other cancers have gone down due to him being on pembro and then ipimumulab. Unfortunately the cancer in his osophegus didnt go down and is continuing to grow. He has now got the stage where he cannot swallow properly and thingsare getting stuck in his throat and he chokes sometimes when eating. He has started to get spots of blood in his phlegm. Im worried for how long he has got. He has been told that the hospitals cannot offer him anything else and the only option left is Radio Therapy. I have know him very long only 18 months and we go engaged. We are an older couple he is 70 im 65. Its been a terrible journey and I want to know what happens next.

Thank you for helping.

Louise
