My father has been diagnised with Advanced pancreatic cancer. We have been advised on two seperate occassions that it has spraed first we were told to the lungs then the liver with Pep scans not confirming this.
As a result of the above a multi diciplinary meeting was held where two other Professionals looked at the scans and said they felt the small dots on my fathers lungs could be cancerous and therefore have now stated he is no longer treatable.
My father was recently in hospital and overheard two of the health professioansl on the ward say the scans were shocking and not done properly.
I am therefore not confident that my fathers outcomes are acurate and would like a secont CT scan of the luungs and indeed a second opinion. However, I have no idea how we can get that second opinion from the part of the UK who provide the best pancreatic cancer care.
Does anyone have any ideas?
