  • Hello Kirsta,

If you have a compromised Liver you will feel very poorly with sicknesss and poor appetite being commonplace.l read your Dad has had surgery to remove the primary tumour in the bowel, but you make no mention of any treatment on the Liver,if surgery is possible,or if not chemo or radiotherapy would be the option,so assume treatment will be ongoing

Having been through the same,l can attest that he will be really challenged for some time to come.Speak to his care team and see if they can prescribe something to help with the vomiting, but sorry to say there will be no overnight fix,it will take time, but hopefully gradually ease.

Its not easy for the sufferer, and even harder for those that love them seeing them suffer, which always begs the question who is the sufferer?,Cancer touches so many, those looking on are not exempt,

      Take care and stay positive,

                                                David
