High grade glioma

Hi , im new to forum. My mum was hospitalised due to strokes in April during covid , she had several others and was in and out of stroke unit and then in August a repeat MRI showed that she never had any strokes but high grade glioma to frontal and temporal lobes. She is now home for past two weeks on palliative care . My sisters and I staying to care for her but feel in shock with very little information or idea as to what to expect . She is already paralysed and reduced sight but no real pain . We would appreciate any advice or guidance, so far only info from hospital was the words "rapid decline " and " aggressive ". Thanks x

  • Hi Gwoo, Very sorry about your Mum. If you search here for words such as 'brain tumour' or 'glioblastoma' you will find forum members sharing similar experiences. Your Mum's doctors are the best people to ask for information. It may be easier if your Mum gives permission for you to talk to them privately. Best wishes, Harry
