Dad's partial glossectomy and neck dissection

Hi,

My dad recently had surgery for a partial glossectomy and neck dissection after being diagnosed with throat cancer. He really seems to be struggling. He only had the surgery less than a week ago (surgeon is hopeful they've got it all). He was having chest pains and the doctors found he had 2 blood clots on the lungs. I guess i'm just coming on here to get advice and hopefully some positve outcomes for people who have went through the same thing. It's hard to watch the struggle he is going through and stay postive
