My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer just before Christmas, he had 3 lots of chemo which went well.  It has now returned in his liver and he has been told there isn't anything that can be done.  He's been in the hospital for the last 3 weeks and has deteriorated very quickly, he cannot eat and drinks very little, over the last couple of days he has started struggling to talk.  It is absolutely awful to see a man who was always so strong and independent slowly fading away.  To top it off my daughter is struggling with an eating disorder and has just found out she's Coeliac.  It seems as though my word is falling apart.
