Caring for someone with cancer CT Scan

My Husband diagnosis of oral cancer this year.

he had a ct scan once but suffered with constant pain after for two weeks, he has spondylitis of the full spine.

he needs another scan after operation.

but is not happy to do so after issues before.

does anyone know if possible to have a ct without laying flat or is there some medication to help?

Do encourage your husband to speak to his Consultant and explain exactly how much pain his last CT resulted in. I'm sure that they will look at ways in which they can better support him if another scan is needed.
