Hi, my brother has just been diagnosed with NK T-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Nasal Type. He has been told it is very rare, and is uncommon even amongst rare cancers. The doctors have still not given him a treatment plan, and the treatments they have discussed are very conflicting. One consultant said will be treated with chemotherapy another said it would be just radiotherapy. I have looked through various medical journals and studies, the prognosis looks very poor however I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had this form of cancer and what your treatment was like. Also, would stem cell treatment be appropriate? Thanks in advance.
