How to deal with lockdown

Hi all

I am new to this. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in April and has just had her 2nd lot of chemo.

We have two kids son coming up to 9 and daughter 4 and my health is not the best.

The chemo dose not seem to be two bad for my wife (apart from hair loss) it's the immune boasting injections she has to take which wipe her out and she fills sore to the bone for the 7 days she takes it.

I am struggling to juggle all of the balls and don't want to let my wife down as she has always been the rock. I also do t want to put my self in a situation which wipes me out.  Dose anybody have any advice?

thank you for reading

  • Hi there ...

I would ring McMillan and ask their advice ... the only thing about this situation, is this covid virus making everything really hard .. I'm sure they would have found a way to help , before this covid ... but give them a ring and see if they have any help they can give you ...

My heart goes out to you, you probly just need a little bit of help that would make all the difference ... is there a family member that could do something to ease it ... it is a catch 22 ... but let us know what they say ...  good luck ... who cares for the carer a ... fingers crossed...
