Hi everyone.my mum is 6 weeks post radiotherapy for tonsil cancer and is still suffering with a really bad sore throat when trying to swallow food,has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on how to ease this.many thanks
I'm sorry to hear about your Mum's recent treatment. We've quite a few members on the forum who have had radiotherapy for tonsil/throat cancer and I know from their posts that the side effects can be problematic for sometime. You might find it helpful to use the forum search finction to look for posts by [@RadioactiveRaz] and [@Taff123]. Both these members have been through similar treatment to your Mum and have written blogs about their experiences. I'm sure that you'll find some helpful information and advice.
