I hope I can help a little bit. My mum was in hospital and my dad told me how scared he was when she was to come home, he didn't know what to do and how to it. (I wasn't there at this point, I live away).

He got the support of the McMillian Nurses, District Nurses and the Local Hsopice. These are here for you aswell as the patient. They want to make sure you are ok and will answer any questions.

They arrange for the house to be installed with extra devices to make it easier for my mum.

The hospice organised some massages for my mum to relax her, and they also said it was available for the whole family.
