  • Hello Pal_kth

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad's diagnosis and the news that he was given more recently. Undoubtedly it's been a difficult time for you all and I can understand that you're feeling upset and annoyed by things.

In the first instance I would suggest getting in touch with the practice manager at the surgery and explaining the situation and that you feel you need more support in helping to care for Dad. You may want to do this by phone but you could also follow this up with a letter. The surgery will then have to acknowledge your complaint and respond within a given time frame. You can find more information on the Citizens Advice website here

If you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses first then you're welcome to give them a call. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I do hope that you're able to arrange the support and help that you both need.

    Best wishes,
