I just wanted to drop by and say hello and let you know that I have slightly edited your title adding the words 'palliative radiotherapy' - this will increase the chances of some of our other members who may have had this type of treatment before seeing your post and responding. 

I am sorry to hear that due to your mum's age and health she won't be able to have chemotherapy. There is information on our website here on palliative radiotherapy  which I hope will answer some of the questions you may have. Our nurses are also only a free phone call away so don't hesitate to give them a ring on 0808 800 4040 if there is anything you would like to discuss with them. Their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. 

I hope that you will hear from other members of the forum who have also had palliative radiotherapy or who have looked after loved ones who had the same treatment as your mum.
