I'm so sorry to hear about your mum , I am going through something similar,  Mum has a lung tumour its spread to her centre nodes and maybe one in her neck , luckily we find out stage , type and treatment plan next week I was hoping her would be stage 1 but with these nodes it will either be 3 or 4 I think ( I dont know for sure ) we only found out she had a shadow 2 weeks ago it's all happened so fast it's scary and sad :( x

Thank you for your response, really means a lot. She is not having treatment due to her very poor health history with lots of other underlying conditions such as Type 2 diabetic, high cholesterol and asthma as well. Doctors reckon she won't be able to cope with chemotherapy so her only option is managing symptoms and pain and making her comfortable. Doctors mentioned her wish for resuscitation and I had no idea what they were talking about. It's all too much so I am here if you wish to chat. I am finding it easier to talk to strangers who are on the same boat than family and friends at the moment.

 Main thing is to keeping our mums happy. We always heard time is precious but now I know the meaning.
