Hubby does not want to go to CT scan because of Covid

Evening

My OH is stage 4 Lung cancer with liver mets, in operable. He's on the new ABCP treatment (chemo and immuno at same time every 21 days)

He's on day 14 of second round and has a CT booked for tomorrow at the Hospital, then consultant appoint Wed to discuss.

He is petrified of attending hospital at this time and doesn't want to go

Can he refuse? Why would they need CT him so soon into treatment (he's due four cycles)

Thanks

  • Update

I phonedMcMillan Nurses and they said that it was protocol and that he did need to attend

So he'll be the one wearing every hat and scarf and gloves he owns.

Have to joke as otherwise we'd cry

    Xx

  • Hi Snoopy, we're in the same situation, stage 4 lung cancer, liver mets, immunotherapy every 21 days and a scan coming up.  But everyone will be extra careful and you don't need to be near anyone else, just keep your distance.  Everyone is working hard to keep on top of treatment and I feel lucky that my husband is still being treated as if he matters, when others are being refused.  Take care, Carol x
