C19 & Private Hospitals

Hi hope you’re all staying safe.

i have a friend who has Prostrate cancer which is spreading out from there a little, he was due to start Radiotherapy in 2-4 wks time but has been told it won’t be happening anytime soon. He lives in Wales.

On the news they said they were using some Private Hospitals to carry on with people’s cancer treatment; Does anyone know about this? 

It sounds like they are using most of them for c19 patients.

Sounds like one hospital are cancelling my relations chemo sessions she has stage4!!

    I'm sorry to hear that your friend treatment has been postponed and also that of your relative. It's obviously a very difficult time at the moment and Consultants are having to weigh up risks and benefits for many things. 

    Keeping an eye on the Public Health Wales website will give you the most up to date information about what is happening in your area.
